7 Reasons To Be Grateful
For Being Single!
by
Renee Piane
As
the holidays approach, we need to be grateful for all
of our blessings. Since the tragic event on September
11th many people have gotten closer to friends and family
like never before.
Some
singles that have attended my events have stated that
the bombing made them take a deeper look at some of
the realities of life
like STILL BEING SINGLE.
According
to the statistics more people are making commitments
and getting married than ever before
and others
on are on the hunt to meet their match. Many singles
are experiencing deep depression and some are turning
to anti- depressants
.
Is this the answer?
In
my seminars, I always advise that you need to be grateful
and accentuate the positive attributes that you have
so you can attract people that are on the same page.
So,
during these holidays what gifts are you grateful for?
Besides the freedom we have in our country to express
our selves, here are 7 light-hearted reasons to be grateful
for being Single.
1.You
can spend your money on what ever you want.
2.
You don't have to check in with anyone if your late
or want to stop somewhere on your way home.
3.
You can have a different date every night of the week
if you're so inclined.
4.
You can eat what ever you want without worrying about
pleasing someone else's taste.
5.
You can have casual sex if you so choose (not something
I would advise).
6.
You can sleep with the windows open if you like a breeze,
or with a heating blanket if you're always cold.
7.
You only have to deal with your own family and if you're
lucky they aren't dysfunctional. So be grateful and
spend time with friends and family that love you just
the way you are. If you're a loner you may want to join
some groups or volunteer to help in your community.
Churches and synagogues will always welcome you. Explore
the ones in your neighborhood.
